State police at Fern Ridge reported on March 16 troopers responded to the 1500 block of Route 903 in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, for a report of motor vehicle parts theft.

A 51-year-old man from Jim Thorpe reported a single catalytic converter was cut from a 2012 Ford vehicle. After examining video surveillance with the victim there was nothing of evidentiary value. The theft occurred sometime between March 13 and 16. The converter is valued at $1,500.
