Checks and balances

When I first heard of the TEA party (taxed enough already), I wasn’t immersed in politics, just a voting taxpayer. A yard sign followed my financial support … cool!

Within a week, the sign was stolen. I knew at that point, TEA had influence and cowardly opposition.

We would be demonized as racists, sexists and much more. The news outlets claimed (falsely), that, “we were against Barack Obama.” He certainly was against us. Heck, he feared us. We were what even the best community organizer couldn’t put together, we were truly grassroots, and Obama knew it.

We are about the constitution, reduced government. Our initial spark came from President Bush’s spending problem, immigration policy, and lack of common sense. Our fuel? Republicans like Bush, socialists like Obama and the radical shift in ideology of the Democrats (progressivism).

Conservatives were never ones to rally a crowd around a cause, but that changed.

In 2016, America elected Trump, on his claim to “Drain” the “Swamp.”

The Republicans and Democrats need to remember who we are. Our aim isn’t to challenge only Democrats simply to return the same Republicans who rubber-stamped the big government Bush agenda for eight years, our goal is to drain the swamp. We’ll step on the throats of those who wish to rapidly grow of government into something it was never intended to be. Republicans and Democrats, be warned. Contrary to the lies of people like Maxine Waters and Nancy Pelosi, we don’t care whether there is a D or an R next to a politician’s name or whether a politician is black, white, man or woman. We want America as it ought to be. If you have doubt, ask any of the many moderate Republicans ousted for failing to adhere to the principles of limited government. We remain committed, refuse to stand down, and will not ever turn over our right to bear arms. This is America, remind your family and friends who we are, and what our Founding Fathers intended us to be.

If you don’t know? Look it up!
