Local miners earn safety award

The Federal Mine Safety and Health Administration has recognized the Little Italy-Nesquehoning crew at Lehigh Anthracite Coal LLC for working 21,126 hours with zero lost time due to injuries again in 2018. This was the small surface mining group’s third consecutive award for safety.
