Pine Grove-Lehighton

Lehighton used a strong fourth quarter to rally for a 40-38 Schuylkill League victory over Pine Grove.

The Indians (6-4; 3-2) received a game-high 16 points from Richard Yturrino, while Zach Hunsicker added 11 points. The Tribe outscored their opponent by an 11-4 margin in the final frame to pull out the win.

Cody Griffiths finished with a team-high 13 points for the Cardinals (6-4; 2-3).

Tyler Fritz’s 31-point effort sparked Marian to a 79-53 Schuylkill League win over Nativity.

It was the sixth time this season that Fritz has scored at least 30 points in a game.

The Colts (9-0; 4-0) also received 21 points from Dante Agosti, while Logan Fritz added eight. The winners led by just five at the break, but pulled away in the second half.

Marquis Ratcliff led the Hilltoppers (5-5; 2-2) with 13 points.

Brayden Knoblauch led the Blue Raiders (9-3; 4-1) with 18 points, while Barron Stauffenberg added 14. The winners, who used a 19-3 third frame to take control, also received 13 points from Lucas Gregoire and 10 from Nate Boyle.

Jack Flynn topped the Spartans (2-9; 0-5) with 10 points.

Emma Niebell scored a game-high 14 points for the Bulldogs, who outscored their opponents by a 22-13 margin over the final two frames. Nolehi (5-5; 4-3) also received nine points from Kaylee Wilk.

The Roughies (2-8; 1-6) were led by Bronwyn Pacchioli’s 13 points.
