The Pleasant Valley School District has launched a search for a new superintendent of schools.

As part of this search, the board of directors has released a community input survey for residents of the district to provide information the directors can use to inform their search.

Pleasant Valley School District residents can go to https://www.pvbears.org and click on “Superintendent Search Community Survey” to complete the survey.

Through the survey, district residents can provide input as to the qualities and characteristics they would like to see in the next superintendent, as well as what district residents view as top priorities, issues and concerns.

The survey will be available until Jan. 16.

The board of education is accepting applications for the posted position through Jan. 14.
