Blue Mountain Resort is set to open its new sports shop this weekend.

The grand opening for Valley True Blue Mountain Sports Shop will be held Saturday and Sunday to accompany the opening of ski trails down to the Valley Lodge.

Guests who visit this weekend will receive storewide discounts, enter to win prizes, free hot chocolate, and a visit from Blue’s mascot, Carver the Huski.

The new store includes a variety of ski and snowboard goods, as well as an easily accessible and expanded equipment tuning area.

From spring through fall, the store will become a camping/mountain biking retail shop for the mountain.

The new store is part of a renovation to the Valley Lodge, including a revamp and additional seating added to the Valley Café.
