State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks reported the results of a sobriety checkpoint operation conducted beginning at 10 p.m. Saturday and continuing until 2 a.m. on Sunday. The checkpoint was set up along Route 183 in the area of the Cressona Borough Hall building.

A total of 180 motorists were stopped, resulting in three drivers arrested for DUI, three charged for drug possession, one for driving while suspended, eight for other traffic violations and 20 warnings given.
