Meed’s Memorial Church

Meed’s Memorial United Methodist Church, 126 W. Catawissa St., has announced the following schedule at the church.

Sunday services will be held at 11 a.m. nursery and children’s Sunday school are available during the service.

The church also hosts a clothing ministry from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays.

A vendor and craft fair will take place at the church from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The kitchen will be open.

The menu at the Panther Valley Senior Center for Dec. 16-20 is:

Monday: Pork and pea carbonara, spaghetti, Italian vegetables, fruit salad or Italian sandwich

Tuesday: French onion soup, cheeseburger, carrot salad, orange

Wednesday: Ranch chicken, sweet potatoes, green beans, pineapples or Reuben sandwich

Thursday: Roast pork, halushki, carrots, melon or spinach salad with bacon

Friday: Baked fish, au gratin potatoes, broccoli, cookie or hummus turkey wrap

The Panther Valley Senior Center has announced upcoming events for Dec. 16-Jan. 3.

Wheel of Fortune on Dec. 16 at 11 a.m.; Birthday Bingo on Dec. 17 at 10:45 a.m.; Cards, Pool, Wii Games on Dec. 18 at 10 a.m.; Nickel-Keeno on Dec. 19 at 11 a.m.; Christmas Movie & Pizza on Dec. at 10 a.m.

Christmas Caroling on Dec. 23 at 11 a.m.; Center closed Dec. 24 and 25; Now You Have It Now You Don’t on Dec. 26 at 11 a.m.; Bingo on Dec. 27 at 10:45 a.m.

Cards on Dec. 30 at 10 a.m.; Penny Game on Dec. 31 at 11 a.m.; Center closed Jan. 1; Celebrate the New Year on Jan. 2 at 11 a.m.; Bingo on Jan. 3 at 10:45 a.m.
