The Tamaqua Area Athletic Department and football boosters will be running fan buses for the Blue Raiders’ football game against Wyoming Area on Friday night at Wyoming Valley West High School Stadium.

There will be a student-only fan bus (run by the athletic department) and an adult fan bus (run by the football boosters). Kistler Transportation will be donating the fan buses for the school to use so both buses are now free. (Those who have already paid may either come to the school to receive the payment that they have submitted or receive it on the bus Friday).

Information to know for those interested in the fan bus:

• Registration — Anyone wishing to reserve a seat on either bus can sign up in the main office of the high school on Monday and Tuesday until 3 p.m. and on Wednesday until 1 p.m. Be sure to include a cellphone number when registering in case updates are needed.

• Time — Buses will depart from Tamaqua High School at 4:45 p.m.

Tamaqua also sent out the address to the stadium for anyone not traveling on the fan buses.

The GPS address for the stadium is: 65 N. Gates Avenue, Kingston, PA 18704. (The travel time is about one hour from Tamaqua)
