Let sleeping dogs lie! Why? They should be made to tell the truth and be accountable for what’s said, like everyone else. Probably the same guy who made his bed and now he’s lying in it. Another person who should be made to tell the truth. Of course it’s probably easier to lie when you’re lying down? Honesty is the best policy, but not good if you want to pursue a political career.

Water over the dam or under the bridge, no sense crying about either one, after all it’s not spilled milk. If the water is under the dam or over the bridge, now there’s a reason to cry! One hand will be washing the other, if that happens and the right hand will know what the left hand is doing.

It’s always darkest before the dawn. I wonder if the time change affects that? Also, I’ve watched many pots, and after while, they do boil! Ergo another saying bites the dust! I was never gifted a horse, so I didn’t have to look in his mouth. He’d have to be very impressive for me to do so! If I had a horse, I wouldn’t put the cart before him and I would not change him in midstream.

A stitch in time is not good, if you’re a seamstress, especially if you get paid by the stitch, you’ll lose a lot of money.

Nonsense is common. Common sense is not!

Common sense is not as common as the penny, but common cents do make dollars, make sense to you? Finally, Better late than never.
