LV Cancer Institute to talk about lung cancer

The Lehigh Valley Cancer Institute will present facts on lung cancer at community forum at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 21 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital — Cedar Crest campus, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Allentown. The forum will take place in the Kasych Family Pavilion Richard Fleming Educational Conference Center rooms 6, 7 and 8.

The forum will educate people about the latest advances in lung cancer, screening, treatment and management.

Learn about smoking cessation, CT for lung cancer screening and advanced lung cancer detection tools, robotic and minimally invasive surgery and advanced lung cancer detection tools and more. Attendees also can speak with a family medicine provider to see if they are eligible for lung cancer screening.

The event is free and a light dinner will be provided.
