November 5, 1966 — Tom Bonner’s 13-yard touchdown run caps a long scoring drive and allows Marian to pull out a 13-12 victory over Nativity. Trailing at halftime, the Colts take the second half kickoff and march 65 yards in 16 plays to take the lead. The winners, coached by Jack Malarkey, gain their first TD in the first quarter when Joe McMullen completes a 66-yard drive with a 1-yard scoring plunge.
