Dear Editor:

I am writing to express my support for the election of Thomas J. McCall to the position of Carbon County controller. As a former Carbon County commissioner, serving for 17 years, I worked alongside of our state representative, initially T.J.’s father and, later, his brother, Keith. During that time, I came to know Tom well.

Tom, like the rest of his family, has always been devoted to serving our county. He goes the extra mile in all of his endeavors and is diligent, fair-minded and knowledgeable. With his in-depth understanding of our county government, he will make an excellent “watchdog” over our county finances. I believe we need his talents and abilities, and that he is the right person for the job.
