Meed’s Memorial Church

Meed’s Memorial United Methodist Church, 126 W. Catawissa St., will host a free community dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday. The menu is beef Stroganoff.

The church will also host a free Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 24. Seating times are at 1, 3 and 5 p.m.

To make reservations for the Thanksgiving dinner, call the church at 570-669-9212 and leave your name, contact number and the number of people in your party.

Sunday services will be held at 11 a.m. Nursery and children’s Sunday school are available during the service.

The church also hosts a clothing ministry from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Neighborhood watch

The next Nesquehoning Neighborhood Watch meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Nov. 4 at the borough hall. All are welcome.
