Penn’s Peak announces 5 new concerts

Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe has announced five new shows for the 2020 concert season.

The Devil Makes Three will take the stage at 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 18. The band, consisting of Pete Bernhard, Lucia Turino and Cooper McBean, is known for songs, “Chains Are Broken,” “Worse or Better,” “Pray For Rain” and “Old Number Seven.”

On Feb. 22, Hollywood Nights — The True Bob Seger Experience will take over the Peak at 8 p.m. The band is the ultimate tribute to Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band.

Bruce in The USA returns to Penn’s Peak on March 7. The show will start at 8 p.m.

On May 1, The Mavericks will take the stage at 8 p.m. The band has hits, including “All You Ever Do is Bring Me Down,” “What a Crying Shame,” “Dance the Night Away” and “There Goes My Heart.”

Happy Together will perform at 8 p.m. on June 18. This is the 11th year for the tour and will feature headliners The Turtles; as well as Chuck Negron, formerly of Three Dog Night; The Association; Mark Lindsey, former lead singer of Paul Revere & The Raiders; The Vogues and The Cowsills.

Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at all Ticketmaster outlets, the Penn’s Peak Box Office and at Roadies Restaurant and Bar.
