Penn’s Peak announces three new shows to its concert lineup

Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe announced three new shows are joining the already full lineup.

Ratt, an ’80s hair band, will take the stage on Dec. 21; Satisfaction — The International Rolling Stones Tribute Show will perform on Jan. 3; and Greensky Bluegrass is scheduled for Jan. 30. The shows will all begin at 8 p.m.

Stephen Pearcy and Robbin Crosby, who make up Ratt, have been performing since the 1980s and are known for songs like “You Think You’re Tough,” “Round & Round,” “Back for More” and “Wanted Man.”

Satisfaction is the international touring tribute show to the world’s greatest rock ’n’ roll band.

This highly acclaimed production showcases the most authentic cast and costuming of its kind. The likes of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and cast bring a colorful performance to over 50 years of classic hits.

Greensky Bluegrass embodies more than just music for members Anders Beck, Michael Arlen Bont, Dave Bruzza, Mike Devol and Paul Hoffman.

“Clearly, we aren’t a band all for money,” says Hoffman. “We did it for romantic reasons such as love, catharsis and because it mattered to us and the listeners. We wanted to have fun with the paradox of the title though. We’re truly blessed and humbled to have our dreams come true and do what we do.

“We love what we do, and we’re grateful for the love we receive in return from the people listening.”

Their hits include “Do It Alone,” “Murder of Crows,” “It’s Not Mine Anymore” and “Wish I Didn’t Know.”

Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday at all Ticketmaster outlets, the Penn’s Peak Box Office and at Roadies Restaurant and Bar.
