Lehighton graduate Erika Cruver was named the Lehigh Carbon Community College Cougar of the Week for her play from Sept. 30-Oct. 6.

Cruver recorded 30 assists, 30 digs, 13 kills, 13 aces and six blocks over the course of four games for the LCCC volleyball team. She posted a season-high 10 aces on Oct. 1 against Valley Forge.

The freshman’s 139 assists this season lead the team while her 35 aces are third. Her 73 digs are tied for third, and her 31 kills rank fourth.

Former Jim Thorpe standout Mackenzie Rosenberger leads the Cougars with 110 digs, 97 kills and 42 aces this season. The sophomore’s 32 assists are second on the team
