According to the affidavit of probable cause filed by officer Adam Shimer of the Palmerton Borough Police Department:

On the morning of Oct. 4, Shimer was requested to assist the US Marshals and Pennsylvania State Parole Task Force on Hillside Avenue.

Shimer was advised that a man identified as Edward Zielinski, 50, was in their custody under the authority of an arrest warrant issued by PA State Parole.
