Plans have been put in place for the fifth annual dinner meeting and the 48th annual convention of the Carbon County Association of Township Supervisors, Secretaries, Solicitors, Auditors, Assessors and Tax Collectors that will be held at the Mauch Chunk Township Recreation Center.

Members of the committee who have planned the event are Andrew Bolish, Packer Township; Howard McMichael, Dominick Farole and George Mermon, Mauch Chunk Township; Lee O’Brian Sr. and Gladys Bausman, Mahoning Township; John Martonick, Joseph Lockwood and Paul Susick, Banks Township; Luther Getz and Josiah Behrens, Penn Forest Township; and Morgan Kemmerer, East Penn Township, who served as the secretary-treasurer of the association.
