September 28, 2001 — Austin Bleam carries 10 times for 167 yards and a touchdown to help Northwestern post a 42-7 Colonial League victory over Bangor. Bleam records gains of 20, 25, 30, 44 and 55 yards, and also adds a 6-yard scoring run in the second quarter. The Tigers, coached by Bob Mitchell, open the scoring when Adam Wolbach intercepts a pass and returns it 34 yards for a touchodwn. The winners, who total 425 yards of offense, receive TD runs from four others players — Reid Schellhammer (six yards), Ray Keshel (16 yards), Nick Friday (13 yards) and Roland Kern (three yards).
