September 19, 1964 — Jim Thorpe’s defense holds Nescopeck to just 40 yards of offense, while George Mann runs for two touchdowns in a 20-0 Olympians victory. Mann carries for 63 yards in the contest and reaches the end zone on short runs of one and five yards. Thorpe, coached by Angie Konstas, also receives 52 yards rushing and a 1-yard TD run from Bill Dart. Mann also recovers a fumble on defense, as does Ed White.
