State police at the Fern Ridge barracks were summoned at 9:20 a.m. Sept. 14 to investigate a theft by deception credit/ATM card incident.

The victim is a 31-year-old from Indian Mountain Lakes, Albrightsville.

Police said someone attempted to use a copy of the victim’s Wells Fargo Visa card at two gas stations in Lantana, Florida, but the fraudulent card was declined and the victim suffered no financial loss.
