Figura also intercepts two passes on defense, the first one leading to Tim Robinson’s 3-yard TD run that opens the scoring. Figura reaches the end zone on runs of 37, 28 and five yards. The Olympians, coached by Mark Rosenberger, also receive an 11-yard scoring run from Jon Young. Thorpe’s defense finishes the contest with eight turnovers and two sacks.
