Tamaqua seniors

The Tamaqua Senior Citizens met Sept. 5 at the Tamaqua YMCA with 55 members in attendance. The vice president opened the meeting with the reading “God’s Gifts.”

The annual summer picnic will be held on Sept. 12 at the West Penn Rod and Gun Club, starting at noon.

The group is open to anyone 55 or older, meeting at 1 p.m. every Thursday at the YMCA. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be on Sept. 19.
