The 100-year anniversary of the 13th district of the American Legion will host a daylong celebration at the Island in Schuylkill Haven from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday. The Coaldale Legion is a part of the district.

A motorcycle ride will kick off the event at 8:30 a.m., while the opening ceremony will start around 9 a.m. There will be music and entertainment throughout most of the day.
