A Monroe County woman was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash on Aug. 25, according to Pocono Mountain Regional police.

Police said at 1:44 p.m. they were dispatched to Dorchester Road in Tobyhanna for a crash. On scene police determined that Clarassa Batrony, 24, of Pocono Summit, lost control of her vehicle which left the road and struck two trees before coming to final rest in a front yard of a residence.

Batrony was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono, East Stroudsburg, with suspected serious injuries, police said. The crash is still under investigation.
