Repair suit

Lyle and Andrea Mantz, 203 W. Holland St., Summit Hill, filed a civil complaint against Joseph Gentila, doing business as AJA Home Improvements, 346 W. Kline Ave., Lansford.

The suit states on Aug. 13, 2018, the plaintiffs hired the defendant to replace a roof on their home. The suit states the defendant started the job and found additional problems. The suit states the agreement was changed to address the problems and an oral agreement was made for the installation of wood and aluminum.

The suit alleges the defendant started the work, did work intermittently and has not finished the work as agreed.

Negligence, breach of contract and violation of unfair labor practices is alleged against the defendant and sought is a judgment for $29,973 plus interest, costs and fees.
