Lehighton Borough Council, on a 6-0 vote with Councilman Darryl Arner absent, took the following action on Monday:

• Approved a change order for the Upper Park project in the amount of $36,450, which pertains to an additional concrete cap in the amphitheater, pending borough engineer Bruce Steigerwalt’s acceptance.

• Rejected a 30-day extension to Lycoming Supply Inc. for the former sewer plant demolition.

• Granted an extension to the Bennett 443 Land Development and Subdivision Plans until Oct. 31.

• Announced that the police civic service commission only has two members, and is in search of a third.

• Awarded the Public Works 2000 GMC Sierra pickup truck with plow to Mark Rider for $5,300.

• Approved the amendment to the fee schedule for the electrical commercial security deposit to $500.

• Announced that the 2019 Halloween Parade will be held at 4 p.m. Oct. 19, with the rain date of 2 p.m. Oct. 20.
