State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a two-vehicle crash about 2:48 p.m. July 22 along Route 61, near Willow Street, in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Edwin Kindred Sr., 83, of Pottsville, was in the parking lot of the Manheim Diner while Mark C. Yuskoski, 47, of Chalfont, Bucks County, was southbound on Route 61. Kindred entered the road and attempted to cross the southbound lanes to go north and his 2009 Ford Ranger truck was struck by Yuskoski’s 2008 Honda Civic. The front of the Civic struck the left side of the Ranger.

Kindred and his passenger, Dolores J. Kindred, 83, and Yuskoski were all not injured. Troopers cited Kindred for vehicle entering or crossing a highway.
