Blood drive

St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley will host a Miller-Keystone blood drive from 1-6 p.m. on Aug. 13 in the Rev. James Burdess Social Hall.

The next Nesquehoning Neighborhood Watch meeting will take place at 7 p.m. on Aug. 5 at the borough hall. All are welcome.

The menu at the Panther Valley Senior Center for the week of July 29-Aug. 2 is:

Monday: Roast turkey, sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, bread pudding or deli club sandwich

Tuesday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, broccoli, cottage cheese with peaches or chicken caprese salad

Wednesday: Baked chicken leg, roasted potatoes, mixed vegetables, melon or beef and spinach sandwich

Thursday: Pork and sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, carrots, baked apples or red beet salad with chicken

Friday: Turkey a l’orange, new potatoes, snap peas, grapes or beef and cheese sandwich
