A Carbon County man is facing theft charges.

State police at Lehighton said Clayton Eberly, 22, of Palmerton, was taken into custody at 8:30 p.m. July 11 after taking a work vehicle and cellphone from his company and not returning it.

The work van was found in the back parking lot of the KeyBank along Delaware Avenue in Palmerton.

Eberly was found at a residence along Lehigh Avenue in Palmerton. He was unable to return the cellphone.

Troopers said the initial incident occurred in Penn Forest Township. .
