State police at Fern Ridge

State police at Fern Ridge have reported on the following incidents:

• On July 3, troopers responded to a residence along Russell Court in Chestnuthill Township, for a reported burglary. On scene, the 56-year-old male victim from Oceanside, New York, reported he believed someone broke into his home around 10 p.m. on June 25. Forced entry was made through a locked side window. Removed from the residence was a 50-inch Samsung television and a D-Link security camera. The total value of the missing items was set at $1,050.

• Troopers also reported on a theft incident. A 37-year-old man from Saylorsburg reported the headlights on his 2004 Dodge pickup were stolen while parked in a lot of Weis Market, off Weir Lake Road in Chestnuthill Township. The theft was reported at 8:42 a.m. on June 25. The suspect vehicle is a black Nissan Altima. The victim is an employee of the market.

Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.

• On June 3 at 11:59 p.m. troopers responded to a residence along Pattern Circle in Albrightsville, Penn Forest Township, for a reported theft. An 87-year-old man of that address said that Tammy Hardin, 48, of Albrightsville, had charge $1,834.08 in unauthorized charges on his two credit cards. Charges of theft by deception have been filed against Hardin.
