Palmerton and Northern Valley both registered wins in Connie Mack league action on Wednesday.

Palmerton-Nazareth

Connor Beahm’s RBI single in the seventh inning snapped a tie score and lifted Palmerton to a 5-4 victory over Nazareth.

Ethan Recker singled with one out in the seventh and moved to second on an error. After a walk to Kaleb Either, Beahm knocked in the go-ahead run.

Beahm finished the contest with three hits and two RBIs, while Recker added a pair of hits and two runs. Eitner and Lucas Heydt both contributed two hits, with Justin Behler chipping in with a hit, a run and an RBI.

Eitner tossed four innings of relief to pick up the win, allowing two runs and striking out three.

Northern Vy.-Hellertown

A big offensive game from Randy Bongiorno helped Northern Valley roll to a 16-5 victory over Hellertown.

Bongiorno went 4-for-4, scored two runs and knocked in three.

The Chargers, who banged out 17 hits, received two hits, two runs and two RBIs from both Josh Kistler and Chase Misera, while Ryan Kensinger contributed two hits and three runs.

Rhys George and Ryan Hammond each added two hits, two runs and an RBI.

Misera tossed five innings, allowing just two earned runs and striking out four, to gain the win.

All-Star Games

The schedule has been released for the Schuylkill County Teener League All-Star games.

Games between teams in North, South, East and West divisions begin today and conclude Sunday. Each division is scheduled to play six games over the four-day period.

Lansford’s all-stars will be playing in the East Division.
