Lehigh Valley Health Network’s Lehigh Valley Physician Group is relocating specialty practices in Carbon County beginning Monday.

The four practices will move to 1001 Mahoning St., Lehighton:

• LVPG Cardiology−Lehighton: Cheri Silverstein-Fadlon, MD, and Jeffrey Snyder, MD

• LVPG Neurology−Lehighton: Shahzad Khan, MD

• LVPG Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine–Lehighton: Brian Burlew, MD

• LVPG Vascular Surgery–Lehighton: John Welkie, MD, and Christopher Werter, MD

The move creates space for the introduction of ExpressCARE at Lehighton at 363 N. First St., where these services were previously located.

ExpressCARE at Lehighton will provide residents with access to treatment for common illnesses and minor injuries without an appointment including sprains and strains, cuts and lacerations, poison ivy, rashes, seasonal allergies, flu symptoms, bronchitis, ear infections, sore throat and fever. It is expected to open in late summer.

Other services that have been available at the North First Street location and will continue there include LVPG Family Practice−Lehighton with Kenneth Sharp, DO, and LVPG Hematology Oncology−Lehighton with Surendra Shah, MD, and Elena Brinker, CRNP. Infusion services also are available at the North First Street center.

Additional LVHN services available in the county include: LVPG Obstetrics and Gynecology−Lehighton and LVPG Pediatrics−Lehighton, both at 281 N. 12th St.; Rehabilitation Services−Lehighton at 2141 Blakeslee Blvd. Drive East; Health Network Laboratories at 1001 Mahoning St., Lehighton and 2591 Route 903 in Albrightsville; and LVPG Family Practice−Albrightsville at 2588 Route 903 in Albrightsville.
