Summit Hill man facing charges in domestic incident

A Summit Hill man is facing charges as the result of a domestic incident.

Borough police said at 3:30 p.m. June 24, they received a call from a resident that reported she had just been assaulted by Christopher Serrano, 38, at a home along East White Street.

She told officers that the argument began over the contents of her cellphone, which he took possession of along with her wallet and vehicle keys. She also told officers that Serrano grabbed her by the face and threw her to the floor where he then stomped on her back and neck multiple times. He then used his hands and covered her mouth and nose, applied pressure, so she could not breathe. Officers said the woman had redness and swelling to her arm, facial area and a bruised toe. He also threatened to use a stun gun on her. She managed to free herself and leave the residence.

Police said Serrano and the victim’s 2004 Dodge Dakota are missing. A felony warrant has been issued for his arrest charging him with strangulation, two counts of simple assault, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and harassment.
