Northern Valley posted a big win in Connie Mack play on Monday, while Berlinsville gained a walk-off victory in a Blue Mountain League contest.

Roseto-Berlinsville

Berlinsville rallied for two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull out a 7-6 victory over Roseto.

Trailing by one and down to their final strike, the Braves stayed alive when Jake Schuster delivered a double to right. Tyler Horvath also doubled to knock in the tying run before Tyler Kirsten’s RBI single produced the walk-off win.

Cody Krupa, a Northern Lehigh graduate, contributed two doubles and three RBIs to the winning cause. Derrick Vosburg, Kirsten, Horvath and Schuster all finished with two hits for the Braves (6-12), who turned a key double play in the top of the seventh to keep the deficit at just one run.

Mike Agosto had two hits and two RBIs for the Bandits (4-15), who scored twice in the top of the seventh to take the lead.

Northern Valley-NE Bethlehem

Randy Bongiorno had two hits and knocked in four runs to help Northern Valley cruise to a 16-6 victory over Northeast Bethlehem.

The Chargers only had five hits in the contest, but benefitted from 15 walks.

Rhys George and Ryan Kensinger each had a double and three RBIs, while Benjamin Boyer added a run and two RBIs.

Carbon Monarchs-North Parkland

North Parkland jumped out to a big lead and coasted to a 9-2 victory over the Carbon Monarchs.

Jared Kucharczuk had three hits and three RBIs for the winners, who scored three runs in each of the first two innings.

The Monarchs received a pair of hits from both Jared Joyce and Drew Frank, while Ian Hubbard contributed a hit, a run and an RBI. Brad Buzzard chipped in with a hit and an RBI, and Logan Pagotto added a hit and a run.

Northampton’s Jared Hunsberger pitched a one-hitter and struck out 16 to lead his team to a 4-0 victory over the Birches.

Isaac Tucker had two hits and scored a pair of runs for the winners. The Birches’ lone hit came from Steve Olizarowicz.
