A Tamaqua woman is headed to state prison for two to 24 months in a decision by President Judge William Baldwin on June 18.

Christine L. Alfaro

, 47, was arrested by Tamaqua Police officer Dwayne Hacker on Oct. 25, 2018. She was charged with robbery, simple assault, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. In a negotiated plea, Alfaro pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking. The other charges were dropped.

Three defendants who had been at liberty on parole or probation had their privileges revoked. All three were arrested by Rush Township police.

Andrew J. Lech

, 31, Hazleton, was arrested by officer Bradley Hess on July 31, 2018, and charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and providing false identification to a law enforcement officer. Lech’s probation was revoked June 19 and he was resentenced to 12 months on probation and 20 hours of community service.

Amy J. Fayock

, 38, Hazleton, was arrested by officer Ryan Oldt on April 4, 2018, and charged with two counts of retail theft. Fayock’s parole was revoked June 19 and she must serve the balance of her original sentence, with a max date of Sept. 15.

Jericha L. Skuntz

, 28, Hazle Township, was arrested Nov. 4, 2014, by officer Jeffrey Tanner and charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property. Skuntz’s parole was revoked June 20, and she must serve her original sentence, with a max date of July 10, 2020.
