The Carbon Monarchs rallied for a victory against Allentown in Lehigh Valley Legion acion on Wednesday.

A big fifth inning propelled the Carbon Monarchs to a 7-6 win over Allentown in Lehigh Valley Legion play.

The Monarchs pushed across four runs to erase a 5-3 deficit. Drew Frank was 2-for-2 with two RBIs for the winners, while also going to distance on the mound, striking out five and allowing just one walk.

Brad Buzzard, David Berger and Randy Bongiorno all had one hit and drove in a run for Carbon.

Afat Viveca was 3-for-3 with a double, three RBIs and a run scored for Allentown.
