Fire companies from several Carbon County communities responded to a dwelling fire Wednesday morning in Towamensing Township. The fire was reported at 11:30 a.m. at 135 Arbor Road. It was believed the fire was centered in the heating system or air handling system. Fire companies from Towamensing and Franklin townships and Palmerton responded.
