The firm in charge of developing West Penn Township’s new updated comprehensive plan is looking for assistance.

It was announced at last week’s board of supervisors meeting that Lehigh Engineering LLC would like to form a group to help develop the plan.

Anyone interested in the endeavor may contact the township.

In March, supervisors agreed to have Lehigh Engineering LLC revise the plan at a cost of $12,600.

The township’s last comprehensive plan was done in 2015.

Supervisors want to have it revised because the township is amending its zoning ordinance.

Urban Research and Development is updating the township’s zoning ordinance.
