Nesquehoning police issue arrest warrant in armed robbery case

An arrest warrant has been issued in an armed robbery case in Nesquehoning late last month.

Nesquehoning police are looking for Mousa Toure in connection with the armed robbery of three men near the intersection of Route 93 in the borough on May 24. Toure is believed to have taken approximately $12,500 from the victims after he lured them to the area under the guise that he was selling a 2011 Jaguar sedan.

Police said that with the assistance of the state Department of Corrections and Pennsylvania State Police, officers were able to identify Toure through video surveillance. Toure is believed to have connections to the Hazleton, Allentown and Philadelphia areas.

Police describe him as 5 feet, 10 inches tall, thin build and short black hair and short facial hair with a small chin beard. He goes by the alias, Omar.

He was last seen operating a black 2011 Jaguar sedan, bearing Pennsylvania registration KWN-2587.
