Four Northwestern players were named to the Colonial League First Team All-Star baseball squad.

Of the four, only one is a senior, while the other three are just sophomores.

Upperclassman Derek Holmes made the team as a catcher. Rafe Perich (shortstop), Nick Henry (outfield) and Carter Welch (pitcher) were the other Tigers selected to the top squad.

Northwestern also had two players — third baseman Nate Goodolf and designated hitter Conner Snyder — make the Second Team, while Palmerton’s Eric Nothstein (outfield) and Ryan King (pitcher) also received Second Team status.

Times News area players receiving Honorable Mention selections include Northern Lehigh’s Brandon Hess (shortstop), Palmerton’s Tyler Roe (outfield) and Northwestern’s Welch (first base).
