State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 3:20 a.m. Friday in Schuylkill County.

Trooper said a 28-year-old man was driving a Dodge 2500 pickup and was killed in the crash. Troopers said they are withholding the name of the deceased until the next of kin is notified.

Troopers said the crash occurred along Bern Drive, north of Deer View Drive, in South Manheim Township. Troopers were flagged down by the passenger of the truck involved as they drove through Auburn.

The passenger said he was involved in a crash and the vehicle had flipped over and landed on its roof and came to rest in a creek.

Troopers were led to the crash scene and found the deceased driver in the cab of the truck.
