Scharle practice moves, adds doctor
The practice of W. Timothy Scharle MD Internal Medicine – which is affiliated with the St. Luke’s University Health Network and specializes in internal medicine and primary care – has added a new doctor and moved its office to a new location.
The new office is located at 306 S. New St., Suite 304 in Bethlehem.
Paul Le, DO joined Dr. Scharle in September 2018, and is seeing new and existing patients.
“Dr. Scharle is a well-respected physician who has been taking care of the people of our community for more than 30 years,” said Ken Dyer, Practice Administrator.
Dyer says the mission of W. Timothy Scharle MD Internal Medicine is to provide the best and most complete care for patients 18 and older.
Dr. Scharle graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine and completed an internship and a pair of residencies at St. Luke’s Hospital - Bethlehem Campus.
Dr. Le is a graduate of and was resident at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He was also an intern at Mercy Suburban Hospital.
Dr. Scharle and Dr. Le began seeing patients at the new location April 15. The practice – which is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. – is accepting new patients.
The new location offers convenient parking for patients. Elevator service is available from the lobby location.

Greenburg honored for numerous contributions
Marna Rayl Greenberg DO, MPH has been named the recipient of the Theodore and Venette Askounes-Ashford Distinguished Scholar Award by the Honors and Awards Council at the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida.
She was recognized for her contributions as an educator, researcher and author in her chosen field of Emergency Medicine.
She is affiliated with the Department of Emergency and Hospital Medicine at Lehigh Valley Health Network. She is believed to be the first clinician to receive the Askounes-Ashford Distinguished Scholar Award and is the first faculty member from LVHN to be honored.
