Monroe woman facing charges

A Monroe County woman was jailed on a warrant and is facing additional charges following an incident that occurred at 1:09 a.m. on April 25 at the intersection of Candlewood and Sierra View drives in Tunkhannock Township.

Pocono Mountain Regional police were dispatched to the area for a suspicious vehicle. On scene the officers observed a white Oldsmobile parked partially in the roadway with three occupants. Police made contact and were able to positively identify the driver and front seat passenger.

A female passenger in the back seat provided a false name but was eventually identified as Natalie Patricia Bosco, 20, of Blakeslee. A check revealed she had an active warrant for her arrest issued to the county’s sheriff department.

Bosco was taken into custody and transported to the county prison in Snydersville and committed on the active warrant. She will also be charged with false identification to law enforcement and flight to avoid apprehension.
