Jim Thorpe’s Carroll to play volleyball at Wilkes

Jim Thorpe’s Kelsey Carroll will continue her academic career and play volleyball at Wilkes University.

A four-year member of the Olympians’ varsity squad as a setter and outside hitter, Carroll tallied a school record 1,309 assists to go along with 830 digs, 375 kills and 282 aces curing her career,

Carroll was named to the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association Class 2A All-State team this past season, one that included an appearance in the District 11 Class 2A title game and a trip to the Schuylkill League playoffs, and has been an all-district first team selection and Schuylkill League Division 2 First Team All-Star three times. She was a Schuylkill League Honorable Mentiopn All-Star in 2015, and was named a Channel 13 Athlete of the Week in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Off the court, Carroll is involved in National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society at Jim Thorpe.

The daughter of Robert and Trisha Carroll, Kelsey will study biology at Wilkes.
