State police at Frackville

State police at Frackville reported the following cases:

• A 20-year-old man from Sheppton was arrested on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault, harassment and possession of a small amount of marijuana after an incident at 8:45 a.m. April 17 on East Market Street in East Union Township.

Police said he was taken into custody and arraigned after an incident involving a 41-year-old woman from Sheppton.

• A gray Kel-Tech Cocoa, 9 mm pistol, valued at $500 and $500 in cash was taken from a residence along Greenbury Road in New Castle Township. The residents reported the home was entered on Jan. 20 and the gun was taken.

• A 59-year-old New Ringgold man reported a yellow and black skid loader, New Holland Haybine, was stolen from the parking lot of the Big Lots store, located at the former Schuylkill Mall site in New Castle Township. The theft occurred sometime between 8:30 a.m. on April 14 and 9 a.m. on April 15.

• On April 19, at 10:25 a.m., troopers were dispatched to a report of a man screaming into a house along B Street in Girardville, causing a disturbance for several of the residents along the street. On scene troopers found Shawn Shoup, 43, of Girardville, causing the problem. He was cited for disorderly conduct.

• On Saturday at 4:57 p.m. troopers encountered an all-terrain vehicle being operated on Brandonville Road in Mahanoy Township. The operator was identified as Jeffrey Warke, 39, of Kingston, Luzerne County. A check revealed that Warke was required to have an ignition interlock on any vehicle he operated and he did not have one on the ATV. He was also cited for several summary ATV violations.
