State police at Frackville are investigating a stalking incident in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said on Thursday at 8:55 a.m., a 44-year-old woman from New Tripoli, Lehigh County, was traveling from the Tamaqua area to the Frackville area. While driving northbound on Route 309 in Tamaqua, the woman noticed a small white car traveling behind her. The white car continued to travel behind her as she traveled onto Route 54 west to Interstate 81 south and to Route 61 south.

The woman then pulled into the McDonald’s Restaurant on Schuylkill Mall Road with the white car following her. She became alarmed and pulled into the drive-thru and asked an employee to call 911. The white car then turned around and fled the parking lot.

Troopers said the woman described the vehicle as a small white car with a wing or hood scoop on the front. No other description was available.
