April 8, 1988 — Clayton “Skimmer” Andrews belts a three-run home run in the first inning and Lehighton goes on to post a 14-4 Centennial League victory over Stroudsburg. The homer wipes out a 2-0 deficit and the Indians, coached by Tom Schaeffer, score in every inning to earn the win. Brad Niehoff collects two hits, one a two-run double, while Frank Bokan adds a pair of hits and knocks in three runs. Lehighton also receives a two-run double from Charles Bowman, and an RBI single by Wilbur “Stump” Green.
