No one was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 5:54 p.m. March 24 on Route 443 (Chestnut Street) in East Brunswick Township.

State police at the Frackville barracks said it happened when a 2014 Subaru Legacy operated by a 17-year-old boy from Schuylkill Haven was eastbound when it excited the roadway and struck a PPL Electric utility pole off the right side of the roadway.

Police said neither the boy nor a passenger, Valerie A. Jefferson, 51, also of Schuylkill Haven, were injured.

Police said a 2016 Audi Q3 that was parked in the parking lot of the McKeansburg Hotel received minor damage to its hood from the utility pole.The incident also resulted in property damage at a property in the 1700 block of Chestnut Street.

Police said the driver was cited for the crash.
